Google has launched another feature on the Google Talk instant chat messenger. This feature is Google Talk Guru, as responder to the inputs of Google user against predefined search query in a predefine format. Google Talk Guru works on chat applications having support of Google Talk instant chat messenger. Let’s see below, that how one can use this new feature:
- Login to the Google Talk instant messenger, using your Google Account Credentials
- Add a new contact of Google Talk Guru, using this email address: guru@googlelabs.com
- Google Talk Guru will accept your chat invitation in no time
Once Google Talk Guru is added to your Google Talk contact list, you will see it in the contact list, which are online

- Send chat query ‘Hi’ to the Google Talk Guru
- Google Talk Guru will reply with the predefined queries of ‘sports results, weather forecasts, definitions, translations, calculations, conversions’
- Use following query formats to get the required instant chat results from the Google Talk Guru:

- For weather forecasts, use format: weather Islamabad
- For definitions , use format: define Aero plane
- For translations, user format: translate Marriage to Swiss
- For mathematical calculations, use format: 737*469

- As, you send the chat query in correct format, Google Talk Guru will reply on chat any available answer specific to your query

Search Weather Updates on your Mobile Iphone Android
Now you can have fun with weather updates from your Iphone or Android Powered devices .
How to find weather updates on mobile.
If you wants to see the updates of the weather just open the googe.com on your Android or Iphone devices and Search the weather in search bar of google.com.
When you hit the search. I will show you the weather forecast for next few days. Move slider over the next 12 hours, now you will see a details hours by hours weather conditions.
You can also add custom location to find weather forecast.
The weather keyword does not mean that Google search will not return the rest of the result related to weather keyword. As you scroll down it will show you the regular web search for your keywords (query)

Google Introduced Desktop notifications for emails and chat messages
Again a good news for Google Gmail user’s .Google introduced HTM5 Based Desktop notification facility for Gmail user’s. Now you will never miss any email or chat alert.
It was difficult to switch to Gmail to check email of chat message from friends and sometimes you miss important messages but now You will never miss any message as it shows a pop-up whenever you receive any email or chat message .
How to Enable Desktop Notification for email and Chat messages
Go to your email click on the Settings link in the top right corner of Gmail and scroll down to the “Desktop Notifications” section. If you just want to get notified about chat messages, or if you use Priority Inbox and only want to get notifications for important messages, you can customize your settings from there too.

This facility currently available for those who access gmail using chrome.

Google translator for Android Released (Update Version)
As Google launched translator for Android in January 2010, with some significant features including non-Roman scripts and spoken translations ,voice input to let you speak the word or phrase you wanted to translate instead of typing it in, and SMS translation so you could translate SMS messages sent to you in foreign languages.
Today Google released latest version of Google translator for Android, these updates includes User Interface improvement .
How to use Conversation Mode
In latest updated version of Google Translator if you wants to use Conversation mode, just press the microphone for your languages and start speaking ,Google translator will translate you speech and then your conversation partner can respond in their language and you will hear the translation spoken back to you.
Conversation mode module is in alpha because there are a lot of accents for each language ,other factors including noise etc that effect the quality of speech and hence problem for translation but Google is working on it and soon we will found some good result.
As for as peoples in USA is concern of using Google Translator conversation mode I think in USA it will work fine but Android has a big use’s market all over the world so Google have to work hard to provide a mutual conversation mode so it also work for the rest of the word.
